Downloading and uploading documents

The simplest way to make changes and update documents in the 4th Office is to download them, edit them locally, save your changes and then upload them back to the 4th Office, replacing your old version and creating a new one.

More information on version history can be found in this article

How to download documents

To download a document from the feed, hover over the thumbnail of the document and click the download button. The document will be saved to your downloads folder on your computer.

To download a document from the document view, click the download symbol at the top of the screen. The document will be saved to your downloads folder on your computer.

Uploading a new version

Once you have finished working on your document, save it. Your changes will be saved to where you downloaded the document to. It's most likely this will be your downloads folder.

To upload your saved changes to the 4th Office you can either:

1. Drag the file over the thumbnail of the document on the feed

2. Drag the file over the preview of the document within the document view

3. Click the upload symbol at the top of the document view screen. Browse to find the file and select it for upload
