Introduction to Groups

Groups have many uses within the 4th Office. They're a versatile way to organise people by department, assemble cross-functional teams around a skill set - or simply organise permissions easily. 
 
Along with Projects and Customers (CRM), Groups are one of the contexts within the 4th Office. As a context, each Group has its own Documents. This can be organised on a Group by Group basis, with Insight and Task pages that focus only on the things important to that Group.
 
Groups can be open - meaning anyone in the community can take part - or closed where it's important to ensure only the right people see what's going on.
